My Journey

Check out the timeline below to see how I've evolved as a product manager.

August 2017

Joined eve.io

I joined eve.io as an early employee as I had know the founder previously through working at large scaled events. My role involved user research, writing product requirements for the first version of the insurance product in the UK and ensuring alignment to industry standards.

December 2020

Move to Munich with eve.io

Development of the eve.io Insurance product was done in Munich and the opportunity arose to colocate with the development team.

During this time the company decided to pivot and we launched eve pass. A check in app to enable restaurants to collect the necessary information required to operate during covid... no more pen and paper forms.

The evepass-app acheived over 1m successful checkins gloablly.

July 2021

US Insurance Product launch

As the pandemic developed the decision was made internally to refocus on launching the insurance product, this time in the USA.

This decision was made on 2 grounds, Texas having the second highest number of event organising companies behind California and the beleif Texas would be one of the first places globally to allow events.

My role involved over the 6 months was restructuring the product to launch in Texas in July 2021.

September 2022

Leaving eve & change of focus

Over the last year and expanding eves insurance into 11 additional states I decided it was time for a new challenge.

I looked to pursue my own venture, JamTMW, an application that would have allowed users to take credit on their invested capital. I later shelved this idea. You can check out the landing page here
(luckily as scalable capital released a similar feature in 2024)

I also designed, built and handed over a website for a charity in my hometown called ParkView4U. Check it out here

January 2023

Joined Enmacc

Enmacc is an energy trading startup out of Munich, I joined alongside another product manager for 6months following a member of staff leaving during a large migration project.

My responsibility was to ensure within 6 months that all features currently available to traders would be available post migration. This would enable to platform to further scale in the future past the humble beginings of just Gas and Power.

July 2023

Founded Stella Psico

During my work at Enmacc I met Jose, a fellow expat. We bonded when talking about expat life and the challenges that expats face, specifically when looking for mental health support.

Although our time did not overlap much at Enmacc we stayed in touch and in July decide to try our own venture.

Problem: Mexican expats can not find mental health support that is available, accessible or affordable

Solution: Connect Mexican expats in Europe to the over supply of therapists in Mexico

September 2023

Traction, Antler and TUM Ventures

Following 50+ interviews with psychologists and potential users we decided to build our first MVP. A simple website with a CMS to handle psychologist profiles, booking and payment with Calendly and session facilitation with Zoom. You can check out the landing page here

We got some good early feedback from paying users and were accepted during Autum into Antlers Accelerator in Munich and the TUM HealthCare Venture Labs.

January 2024

Closed Stella Psico

Although the early signs were promising Stella Psico was bootstrapped and there came a point where we had to consider raising funds and showing a large enough TAM.

We received lots of advice in this area which we were grateful for, however following attempted pivots to a B2B model we still could not produce a venture backable case that we believed in.

Although we believe the problem is validated, we don't have the conviction that we could produce a profitable, scalable solution in the current environment.

The next step

What comes next?

I am currently looking for positions within tech as a primarily as a product manager in Munich or remote. Please reach out if you would like to talk about how we could potentially work.

In the meantime I am improving my german skills (currently B2), studying for the PSM1 exam and diving more into FE & BE technologies.
